Following damage to a water pipe on the pilgrim street development we have suffered a number of instances of disruption to our water system, resulting in air locks, pumps shutting down and leakage resulting in the disruption to supply over the weekend. Water was restored this morning and then interrupted at approx. 2.00 today to drain the main tank to carry out essential repairs. It is anticipated they may take until 8/9pm this evening at which time the supply should hopefully be able to be restored
The concierge will advise tomorrow if further works are going to result in a temporary outage.
In the meanwhile, we would point out that those who have been contacting local press and health authorities have only hindered the repairs as valuable time has been spent in dealing with this rather than progressing the repairs.
